Geprode Stands Out Internationally at the GeoTech Awards 2025 with Two Excellence Awards in Geotechnical Innovation

Geprode Receives International Recognition at the GeoTech Awards 2025

Geprode was internationally recognized at the GeoTech Awards 2025, one of the most prestigious awards in the geotechnical engineering sector, held on October 2 at The Kia Oval in London.

During the event, which brought together more than 180 professionals, consultants, and leading companies in the field, Geprode won two major categories:

• Best Use of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
• Best Use of Instrumentation & Monitoring – Transport Project

These awards recognize Geprode’s capacity for innovation, technical impact, and contribution to the global advancement of geotechnical engineering, particularly in tunnelling and transport infrastructure projects.

International Recognition for Innovation and Technological Impact

According to the event’s independent judging panel, Geprode stood out for the development of intelligent software using artificial intelligence for the early detection of geological risks during active tunnel excavations, widely applied across South America.

“The technology effectively addresses geotechnical engineering challenges, offering clear advantages over traditional methods. The tangible benefits demonstrated suggest this could be a transformative innovation for the tunnelling and construction industry,” the judges stated (source: GeoTech Awards 2025).

In addition, in the Instrumentation & Monitoring category, the evaluators praised the combined use of advanced instrumentation and artificial intelligence in transport projects.

“The combination of instrumentation and AI reduced downtime and improved safety, with potential for cost savings and innovative decision-making. This technology has universal potential and is extremely innovative,” emphasized the jury (source: GeoTech Awards 2025).

A Milestone in Geprode’s Journey

These recognitions reinforce Geprode’s commitment to technical excellence, applied innovation, and the use of cutting-edge technology in soil engineering, tunnelling, and infrastructure.

The achievement is the result of a collaborative and multidisciplinary effort, combining field experience with research and development to deliver solutions that raise standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency in underground works and large-scale projects.

“We believe the future of geotechnical engineering lies in the integration of artificial intelligence, continuous monitoring, and specialized technical expertise. These tools enhance our ability to anticipate risks and make safer, more informed decisions,” highlights Geprode’s technical team.
